Story

As part of the ‘Go your Own Way’ fund raising activity, next month on Saturday July 15th Sarah, Claire, Catriona and Patricia are doing a sponsored 13k walk in Castleward Co Down, to raise much needed funds for the Special Educational Needs Advice Centre (SENAC) These are very tough times for children with special educational needs (SEN). Parents need our support services more than ever before. Unfortunately, it is becoming increasingly more difficult to secure funding to maintain our vital services. Last year SENAC supported almost 900 families with children with SEN by providing free, independent information, advice, advocacy and representation to ensure that children and young people have their needs assessed and provided for in school. By sponsoring our small team of walkers, you will make a big difference to the lives of many children and young people with SEN throughout Northern Ireland, no matter how little or how much you give. We are deeply grateful in anticipation of your continued support.
