Story

It's official - we're walking for Patient Safety! Please support us!

A fab group of academic and healthcare staff from the University of Stirling and NHS Forth Valley are dusting down the trainers for the Edinburgh Kiltwalk to raise awareness for World Patient Safety Day on 17th September 2024. More information can be found here: World-patient-safety-day-improving-diagnosis-for-patient-safety

This year the campaign aims to highlight the critical importance of correct and timely diagnosis in ensuring patient safety and improving health outcomes with the slogan 'Get it right, make it safe!

In the coming months NHS Forth Valley will be launching their Safety Collaborative, “Safer Together” which will seek to improve patient safety across the whole healthcare system in Forth Valley.

Patient safety is considered day to day core business and so we are raising funds for 'Forth Valley Giving; which is the official charity of NHS Forth Valley who support local patients, hospitals and staff.

We would appreciate your support!
