I have been committed to raising awareness of Dementia and the impact on the individual and their family for sometime now. Sadly, my Gran passed away recently after fighting a tough battle with Alzheimer's. She was a brave and fearless woman who never backed down from a challenge and continues to inspire me today.

I am taking up the challenge to run the London Landmarks Half Marathon and will be raising funds for Dementia UK. They provide an invaluable network of support and information for families affected by Dementia through their Admiral Nurses.
