We breed and train guide dogs to give blind people freedom and mobility

Story

Parklands staff are once again swapping the desk and stethoscopes for trainers to raise money for the Guide Dogs NI by running the Belfast Marathon Relay.

In Northern Ireland roughly 31,000 people have sight loss and that has a significant impact on their daily lives.

Guide Dogs give blind and partially sighted people an opportunity to still live life to the fullest.

The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
