Walking the Pennine Way for Graham and Parkinson's UK

Pennine Way Trek · 23 March 2024
Parkinson's is the fastest growing neurological condition in the world, and currently there is no cure. In the UK, around 153,000 people are already living with Parkinson’s. My incredible uncle Graham, is just one of those affected.
Graham has been living with Parkinson's for over 12 years. Before his diagnosis, Graham would do a casual 120mile cycle before our Sunday Roast and has lifetime achievements in Running for both England and Yorkshire.
It therefore felt fitting to challenge myself to my absolute limits by walking the full 268 mile Pennine Way route, starting from Edale and finishing at Kirk Yethom. Helping to raise awareness and funding to Parkinson's UK.
If there is anyone who would like to join me for a day on any of the 21 days walking, please get in touch. I will be starting on the 23rd March and ending on the 5th May.
We have already booked our accomodation and very happy to share where we will be staying, if you want to join in.
