September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Take on our '5 a day' challenge to raise awareness and support for the 5 children diagnosed with cancer everyday in the UK. Cycle 5 miles a day or 150 miles throughout the month to show your support.

Story

Approximately 2,400 children and young people (up to, and including the age of 18) are diagnosed with cancer each year in the UK. CFC are a fantastic charity that help families along this difficult journey.

They help children to regain their physical fitness and mental wellness by giving them new bikes, adapted trikes and specialist support during treatment and into recovery. They have awarded over 8,500 bikes since the charity began in 2005.

Joe and Bob are undertaking a daunting 247 mile trip on a tandem in support of this fantastic charity. The bike was supplied by CFC a number of years ago to allow Joe to keep cycling. The trip is self-funded, so all donations go to the charity to allow them to help other young people build accessible fitness into their treatment and recovery journey.
