Story

On Sunday 21st April, we invite the Papplewick School community to challenge themselves to take part in our annual Charity Walk in Windsor Great Park.

All proceeds will be donated to Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY), in memory of Old Papplewickian Tavy (Octavian) Cottle. In his five years at Papplewick, Tavy epitomised our most coveted values of enthusiasm for life, contribution to the community, and above all, kindness to others - we are honoured to walk this year in his name.

Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions.

With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young.

By supporting CRY you will help save young lives from these potentially fatal cardiac conditions.
