Every 7 seconds somebody somewhere in the world is diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Someone's son, daughter, mum, dad, brother, sister and/or friend. It's the most heartbreaking disease that impacts all involved. Our cycle is aiming to raise money to contribute to much needed research to find a cure For this terrible disease.

Our event is the massive challenge of cycling 70 miles in one day. This year its bigger and better. From Blackpool to Liverpool. Will be the furthest I've ever cycled but it's something that is needed to raise vital funds for Alzheimer’s Reserarch.

This disease continues to touch the lives of so many, including my Dear Mum who sadly passed with vascular dementia, Tony's Mum who is 101 this year who is also affected and my dear friend Mary Cooke, taken far too soon by this dreadful disease.
