The People’s Kitchen provides daily meals and support for vulnerable and homeless people across the North East, offering not only nourishment but also a lifeline of friendship and care.

Did you know that just £5 can provide a hot Christmas dinner for someone who might otherwise go without? For many, this isn’t just a meal—it’s a moment of comfort, a reminder that they are not forgotten, and a chance to feel the warmth of human connection during the coldest months.

Why is this so important?

Right now, The People’s Kitchen is serving between 250-300 meals a day to people in need—people who might be facing homelessness, loneliness, or financial hardship. On Christmas Day, they will open their doors, just as they do every day - meaning those in need of a Christmas Day meal can enjoy it in a warm and friendly environment.
