Story
On 4 May 2024 I will be taking part in my first fitness competition, Hyrox, eeek!
I decided to get a charity place when I saw that the chosen charity is Macmillan. This charity is close to my heart after losing my special Nanny Peggy in June 2023, whose cancer had unknowingly returned. She passed away on her and Grandad’s wedding anniversary, and both Nanny and Grandad asked for donations to Macmillan at their funerals.
Despite being into fitness for a very long time, this is the first time that I am actually working towards something that will be extremely challenging and gruelling! But I’m excited for the challenge! And if you don’t know what Hyrox is, look it up and you’ll see just how disgusting it’s going to be ha!
If you have any spare funds, I would really appreciate any donation you can kindly make. Thank you!
Thanks for supporting my fundraising. Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.
