I'm planning to walk the GR11 from 30th June with my good friend, Elsa Decker, in order to fundraise for Hospiscare in the Exeter area.

The GR11 is a 520 mile walk along the Pyrenees from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean coast- covering some very difficult terrain and possibly snow covered areas. We will be carrying our tents etc and neither of us has done anything like this before so we have started training already.

Hospiscare supports adults with life-limiting illnesses and currently helps at least 2000 people every year across the heart of Devon. £28.12 will pay for an hour of inpatient care but most support takes place in the community. The Government doesn't pay for this so Hospiscare relies on donations- even a small donation makes a difference.
