Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
A marathon has always been something i've thought about doing and 2024 seemed like the right time. This year marks 20 years since my beloved Mum began to lose her battle with Cancer and was given end of life care at Sobell House in Oxford. The staff at Sobell were a huge comfort during an extremely difficult time for which we will be forever grateful.
Mum was always there cheering me on when I would run cross country as a teenager so it feels like a fitting tribute to be running this marathon in her memory.
I appreciate that times are tough at the moment. Anything you can spare will help spur me on when the going gets (inevitably) tough as I know it will help other families affected by terminal illness.
