We work to prevent breast cancer to stop women, and men, being diagnosed.

Story

Close to my heart,

My wife is a BRCA2 gene career and was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2011

The disease was only identified following an invitation to join Southampton Uni Genetics programme for tests, as a blood sample was donated by her Mum in 1999.

In 2010 the BRCA2 gene was found.

After a year of treatment, followed by a Oophorectomy & then a DIEP - double mastectomy with reconstruction she remains fit and well.

My youngest daughter, who is also a BRCA2 gene carrier, has now taken the Preventative Action and has the same DIEP operation, so very brave.

Hence it's my turn to do my bit to make people BRCA2 Aware, as gene carriers are 83% more susceptible to developing the disease.

I will cycle from Rome to Sicily all of 650miles, along with my great friend and long term trainer Justin Glasspool and the new addition to the Onyx Team Emily Warner,

Glenn Julius,

CeO,
