Story

The ONs present FRASER LOWRIE + THE MOSS FARM + BELE + VIVIEN HUGHES live at BUONISSIMA on SATURDAY 11th JANUARY from 7.30pm.

We are supporting the NUH ARTS PROGRAMME, which brings music, poetry & visual arts to patients, staff & visitors in Nottingham's hospitals.

BUONISSIMA is a vibrant Italian Aperitivo Bar at 14 Station Road NG10 5BG. They serve food all day until 9pm, the music starts at 7.30pm & the bar will be open until 11pm.

The show last January sold out, so please book early by emailing theteam@buonissimabar.com or by calling 0115 939 3256.

FRASER LOWRIE puts a fresh spin on modern & classic singalong hits. He seamlessly builds songs from scratch — recording beats, bass & guitar with a loop station, layering powerful vocals on top to create an electrifying, one-man show. This screams 2025 Dick Van Dyke from Mary Poppins! You can watch Fraser here.

MATT HUMPHRIES, either under his own name or as THE MOSS FARM, is playing his sixth ONs' Gig for Nottingham Hospitals Charity. Now based in Liverpool, Matt drums for Lazygirl but will bring his guitar, loop pedal & a special guest to Buonissima.

BELE is a singer, actor & dancer familiar from musical theatre stages in Nottingham, appearing lately in The Addams Family, Hello Dolly & Sister Act. Born in Brazil, raised in America, Bele possesses a pure English folk voice. This will be her third ONs’ Gig. Nigel King took the photo below at Buonissima last January.

VIVIEN HUGHES has performed for Hellcats Events at The Old Bus Depot & Sobar. She also played for the Hockley Hustle at Blend in 2023 & Cosmos in 2024. Vivien's precocious talent recently attracted the attention of a professional songwriter & producer.

The NUH ARTS PROGRAMME aims to improve the wellbeing of patients, staff & visitors. It covers Nottingham City Hospital, Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham Children’s Hospital & Ropewalk House. Since its launch in 2021 the Programme has been a huge success. There are now interactive workshops for people to get involved in, plus new scenic corridors with painted murals & galleries of art.

The wide range of creative sessions include music for patients on the stroke ward & poetry for World Kindness Day. Shortlisted for numerous awards, the Programme won the Environment of Care category at the Patient Experience National Network Awards.

Nottingham Hospitals Charity can only do all this with your help. You can make a real difference to the hospital experience, especially of long-term patients, children & people with life-limiting illnesses. Thank you for supporting this important work.
