Story

Monday 6 May is the 70th anniversary of Roger Bannister breaking the four-minute mile (6 May 1954). The event will be taking place at the Duke of York Square where Roger Bannister is known to have trained at regularly. This is also the home to Onetrack's weekly Track sessions.

With May being Mental Health Awareness month, Onetrack run club will be running 1000 miles, supporting Mind in memory of fellow Onetrack runner Ed Dean.

Each participant can choose to walk or run (within the allocated 3 hours):

3 miles

6 miles

10 miles

13 miles

26 miles

The entry fee for any of the distances above will be a minimum £25 donation.

Supporters can choose to donate the above in pounds to make up more miles in advance or on the day.
