Can we get a bigger FU to Cancer?

Fundraising for St. Wilfrid’s Hospice (Chichester)
£1,000
raised of £1,500 target
Event: Pay for a Day 2024, from 1 February 2024 to 29 February 2024
It costs £26,000 per day for St Wilfrid’s to provide our end-of-life services. With an additional day in February, and costs significantly rising, we would love for you to be a Leap Year Legend and help us pay for an extra day of vital care.

Story

Start of this year I was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer, with a good positive prognosis, and although 2024 promises to be an "interesting year" it did make me think about those that are less fortunate than myself. So I thought I would see if I could raise even a few pounds to help this fantastic local hospice.

Further update

Started as a birthday fund raiser and did well, extended once and now extended again. I have decided to try and give this one final push while I undergo another round of treatment over 25 days in July.

Bit of an update thingy

*I also lost a friend to Cancer in April 2024 and her final days were spent in a hospice, the love and care she received was amazing. So I extended this to try and hit £1k, which I currently sit just below.

It costs £26,000 per day to provide specialist end of life care for people in my local community and to support their families and loved ones at St Wilfrid's Hospice?

2024 is a Leap Year and February has an extra day in the month.

So, as a Leap Year Legend for St Wilfrid’s Hospice, I am helping them to Pay for an Extra Day of vital end of life care.

And That’s Not All!

Every pound you help me raise in February will be match funded up to £26,000!

So, please join me to help Pay for a Day.
