Story

In a little over 7 weeks, the two of us will be having a go at running the 2025 London Marathon on behalf of Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care and in the memory of my beloved grandad Ben Donoghue.

For those who don’t know, Rennie Grove are a charity who are dedicated to providing care and support to those who have a progressive life-limiting illness throughout Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.  It was truly inspiring to see how passionate they are about ensuring the quality of life and comfort of those in their care as we witnessed through their support of Ben.

By taking on this run, we hope to raise awareness and vital funds to support their services, allowing them to continue making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who rely on their care.

Ben was a huge inspiration to our family, and someone we loved very deeply. It is an honour for us to run in his memory!

Any donation no matter how big or small, contributes massively to Rennie Grove’s cause and the support of the loved ones of many and are greatly appreciated by the pair of us.

Thank you so much in advance.

Wish us luck, we absolutely need it!

See you at the finish line – Ollie & Jack McGowan x
