Hi all,

In May 2023, we lost Clarissa - a twin, a sister, a cousin, and a best friend - from an undiagnosed cardiac condition. In her memory, we are taking on the 2024 London Marathon, probably at nowhere near the speed she would have achieved!

Like a lot of people, Clarissa had a vast pool of energy which needed to go somewhere. Unlike a lot of people, she channeled it superbly and was an exceptional runner for club, school, and university. Given all her running miles on the clock I think she would have been amused to see the state of us at the end of 26.2 miles.

We are running to raise money for CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young). CRY works to prevent similar tragedies by working with cardiologists, funding screening facilities, and raising awareness of the risk to apparently fit and healthy young people. Clarissa was an incredibly special person in all of our lives and we miss her tremendously. Any and all donations would mean the world to us.
