Ollie and Poppy have decided to take on the challenge of doing 2,023 Step Ups during the month of September 2023 in support of children their own age, living in desperate conditions in Darfur, Sudan.

The situation is heart-breaking. With fighting continuing across the country, the UN reports that over 2 million people have fled the country. UNICEF says hundreds of unaccompanied minors have fled to Chad and elsewhere. The danger of travelling anywhere in Darfur is putting the lives of hundreds of women and children at risk. Children really are starving.

Poppy says, "I recently had to spend the night at Hamburg train station with my Mum as our flight was cancelled. I was cold, I was scared and it felt as though we were homeless. I can't imagine how scared the children of Darfur are to be homeless, on their own and surrounded by fighting too. I really want to help them."

Ollie & Poppy are challenging themselves to do 2,023 Step Ups to help save children's lives.

We must help children affected by the fighting in Sudan. There is no one else.
