I'm walking The London Walk marathon!

London Walks 2025 with #TeamSCT · 14 March 2025 ·
On the night of the 14th of March I will be walking The London Walk marathon for Spitalfields Crypt Trust, part of The London Homeless Collective.
Yes, that means: 42 kilometres or... 26 miles or... 60,000 steps or... 7 hours or... or £400 towards warm meals and shelter for people experiencing homelessness.
The London Walk is organised by The London Homeless Collective, a movement of more than 25 charities that help people experiencing homelessness in London. Walking through the night offers an opportunity for reflection on the experience of people who are homeless. Not just people who are forced to sleep on the streets but those who walk through the night, travel on night buses, or access 24 hour retail sites in order to stay awake and stay safe. In particular young people, trans people, and women, who are all especially vulnerable to violence and exploitation.
Spitalfields Crypt Trust helps people experiencing homelessness, alcohol and drug addiction, mental and physical illness, or issues with the criminal justice system. Your donation will go towards providing food, housing, counselling, training, support, advice, and a listening ear to hundreds of people.
...and if you want to join the walk, you can sign up here!
