Thank you for supporting my fundraising Wingwalk. Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.

In 2021 I was diagnosed with Stage 3 womb cancer. Right from the beginning, Macmillan supported me with great care and understanding for both myself and my husband.

Macmillan stood with us throughout everything - chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery. Jan, my named nurse, was available throughout, and even now, after getting the all clear, is by my side and available for all follow-up appointments to ring and speak to at any time.

The Macmillan finance team assisted in giving advice, also processing things such as my application for the disability "blue badge" so that parking was made easier for all appointments.

The amazing care and support that Macmillan provides is not supported by government funding in any way and relies on the support of donations - please support this Wingwalk activity so that I can in some small way repay them for the dedication shown to me during my treatment and so this can continue for others.
