I am once again taking part in the annual North vs South challenge to raise money for Maggie’s. This year the events kick off with a relay race from Maggie’s in Manchester to the finish line at Buckingham Palace, during which I’ll be carrying the baton for a half marathon somewhere between Leicester and Northampton. Despite being a keen runner I have never covered this distance before so I’m keen to test myself and raise some money for a great cause.

Maggie’s does brilliant work to support people with cancer and their families at what can be a very challenging time for all of those affected. As well as supporting Andy (who’s story you can read more about in the North vs South page linked to mine), my own family has also benefitted from the care and support that Maggie’s provide.

I am of course looking to raise as much money as possible, and my employer will match all donations up to £500, so anything you can provide will be massively appreciated!
