I will be running the London Landmarks half marathon in memory of our beautiful daughter, Alexandra, who was born in July 2023 but devastatingly was only with us for a day before we lost her, changing our lives forever.

This came after my wife's waters broke early whilst we were on holiday in Mauritius, culminating in Alexandra being born in South Africa, meaning we had to go through the worst time in our lives with no support around us.

The support we received on our return to the UK from the Forget Me Not Fund has been incredible (and still is to this day), helping us through some of the darkest times. Losing a child is one of the most devastating things to happen to anyone and any money raised will support others who are sadly going through the same.

Although Alexandra is not with us, she will always be the brightest star in our sky and will always be a missing piece in our family. This is just a small part of keeping her memory alive.

Hampshire Hospitals Charity's Forget Me Not Fund supports families suffering the loss of their baby during pregnancy or the neonatal period. Money raised is used in many different ways to ensure that families are supported at such a devastating time
