Story
For many of those that knew Oli, this will be the first time you are hearing this terribly sad news and you will no doubt be deeply shocked as we were - we send you our deepest condolences.
Oli, or as we knew him, the 'Big Friendly Giant’ , was the best of year group, not just because of the incredible combination of athletic ability, size and coordination on the rugby pitch, but his kind character off of it. He was an incredibly talented illustrator, an amazing friend with the biggest heart, smile and laugh. The list of Ollie’s qualities is endless, a paragraph could never do him justice.
Oli always spoke so fondly of his memories playing for the Harrodian, for a lot of us, including Oli, it was the Zenith of our rugby playing careers.
In January of last year, at his one-year anniversary drinks, there was a strong sentiment amongst Oli’s peer group for his memory to live on through the game that he cherished so much. With the School’s support, and as part of the 30th Anniversary Alumni Event at Harrodian on Thursday 19th September, Oli’s team mates from the 2012 1st XV Rugby Team will be hosting a 7s Rugby Tournament in honour of Oli and in aid of the Fitton family's chosen charity, SUDEP Action, who are dedicated to raising awareness of epilepsy risks and tackling epilepsy deaths.

Although most people with epilepsy live long and healthy lives, epilepsy is one of the top-ten causes of early death. At SUDEP Action, we focus our efforts on providing tools to help keep people safe and on the priorities that bereaved families tell us are important: To prevent deaths; To be supported; To be involved.
We have won national and international honours for our achievements to date, but we recognise there is much more work to do, and this is why we need your donations. With your help we can strive to make a difference.
