Story
Hello! I am Saffy, a Pug cross, who came into the care of Oldies Club, a volunteer-run charity that rescues and rehomes older dogs in the UK, in February 2023, when my person sadly passed away. I settled into my lovely foster home well.
Updated 25 May 2023: Thank you very much for all the donations so far :-) We've updated the total as my vet bills came in at £966.77! If anyone else can contribute £2 or more that would be wonderful.

During a vet appointment, it was confirmed that I needed a dental, which I had in March, and also surgery for mammary masses, which took place earlier in April 2023. I came round from the surgery well, though my fosterer brought me home with instructions that I must take it really easy for a while! I am being given painkillers and am eating well.
I had a post-op at the vets today (17 April) and I have antibiotics for a week with another check-up scheduled, but they said I am doing very well for such a big operation.
The volunteer helping me write this page doesn't have a total for my vet bill yet, but they know it will be in the hundreds of pounds, at least. I am hoping by starting this page that you will donate whatever you can, from £2, to help towards these costs, to help Oldies Club continue taking care of me while I await my forever home.
Thank you!
Love, Saffy x
Should Oldies Club supporters be generous enough to donate more than is needed for my vet bills/care, any excess money will be directed to the charity’s general fund and used to help other older dogs in its care.
