On Thursday 2nd November, Charlotte, Jane, Lizzie, Nicola, Rhys and Rob from the Oakland Group in Leeds are taking on the Leeds Mind Firewalk 2023 Challenge.

At Oakland we're really passionate about mental health and wellbeing and want to take the Firewalk Challenge to raise vital funds to support the people in Leeds who need our help the most.

As 'Firewalkers' for Leeds Mind we'll be facing our fears and walking barefoot across a bed of red-hot embers. This is a mental challenge, more than a physical one and a fantastic way to demonstrate mind over matter!

Leeds Mind has been providing mental health services for over 50 years. They are affiliated with Mind nationally but respond to local needs which means the money raised through fundraising will stay in the local area and provide much needed services for the people in Leeds with mental health difficulties.
