Story

Dear Family and Friends,

Every breath is a Charity that was formed to support lung cancer patients like Alan providing a meeting venue and a platform to raise the much needed research that is ongoing.

Alan’s story is that out of the blue he experienced a shoulder ache which he thought was a muscle twinge. When it didn’t go and he got slightly breathless, he thought he’d get it checked out. It turned out to be lung cancer! As a never smoker he was shocked to hear this news. The Everybreath charity has made us aware that for non-smokers lung cancer has doubled over the last ten years, partly due to the environment we live in.

Everybreath was formed by staff and patients of Kings College Hospital at the PRU in Locksbottom. We meet once a month where we get the chance to talk about any issues but mainly just for a chat and a relaxing afternoon. These meetings are invaluable to us.

To raise further funds, we are walking the O2 on Saturday 16th March. The two of us are aiming to raise £400 and need all the support we can get from our family and friends to achieve this. A small donation would be most appreciated as it will build up if we can get the word around….

….. and if any of you are free to come and support us on the day, you will be more than welcome.

Heartfelt wishes

Alan and Steph ♥️♥️
