Nurse Lifeline are a small charity providing much-needed emotional support to nurses, midwives, nursing associates, healthcare assistants, and students in the UK.

The charity first emerged during the pandemic as a psychological life-raft for healthcare professionals. Their unique listening service now receives many calls from staff experiencing stress and burnout, thoughts of leaving the profession, and calls from staff who are considering suicide.

Suicide rates are at the highest they have ever been in the nursing and midwifery community. I'm running the Paris Marathon in April 2025 and hope to use the opportunity to raise money for this amazing cause.
