Story
My name is Adam Gleason and I have always been physically active and athletic. I was a county runner -up in high school wrestling. I enjoyed bicycling, running, and swimming throughout my youth. I lost all my eye-sight when I was just 20 years old, and fought back to regain my life and my independence. Athleticism was a part of my battle to cultivate a new life, and I have some victories under my belt, but the war is not over...
I am supporting Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA) because I believe in their mission to provide life-changing opportunities through sports and physical activity to individuals who are blind and visually impaired.
Currently, I am training for two events that will take me to my physical limit!
Black Diamond Triathlon: July 13, 2024
Lake Meridian Triathlon: August 17, 2024
Being blind creates obstacles that can feel impossible to overcome, but since being introduced to supportive physical activity through NWABA, I have built my confidence and self-esteem, and I am part of a great community!
Cheer me on by making a donation to support the NWABA athletes and programs.
