Loch Lomond Challenge

We are My Name'5 Doddie Foundation and we're absolutely committed to our goal: A World Free of MND. We will leave no stone unturned in the relentless pursuit of this goal as we fund, guide and enable the smartest, most efficient MND research to catalyse a cure for motor neuron disease.

Story

Golden Charter’s Business Manager North Team - Anthony Fitzpatrick, Claire Gibson, Gemma Laurenson, Mike Stanway, Morgan Murray, Victoria Rosenthal and Georgia Henney - are taking up a Loch Lomond Challenge over 3 months (August to October 2024) to raise funds for SAIF President’s nominated charity for the year - My Name’5 Doddie.

We intend to collectively swim the equivalent length of Loch Lomond, which is longer than swimming the English Channel or the equivalent of 1456 lengths of a 25m pool, and also walk the length of Loch Lomond's shoreline, which is almost the distance of 4 marathons or more than 382 times around an athletics track!

If you want to know just how many metres that is, check out our progress here: https://keepthescore.com/board/zlrtsfxkdfjnr/
