Norman loves going to the Dementia Support Hampshire & IOW’s Monday Basingstoke Group with Brenda and Kevin.

When we go it gives Norman a chance to play Dominoes, having a cup of tea with a slice of cake and the chance to chat to fellow members. Along with giving support to the family. We are so thankful for the support they give us.

Norman will be walking the Solent trail. This is 4.5 miles with Kevin and James.

About the charity:

Dementia Support Hampshire & IOW is a small local independent charity that was set up by local people with lived experience through caring for a loved one with dementia.

Our mission is to ensure that everyone living with memory loss or dementia, or caring for someone with dementia, has all the support they need.

We provide free information, signposting and emotional support throughout the dementia journey.

We host weekly Support & Social and monthly Musical Moments Groups in the community.
