Story
For the last 2 years myself and friends have raised money for Pretty n Pink in memory of my late wife Gemma Cunningham.
Gemma passed away on 22/01/21, having been rediagnosed with breast cancer at the young age of 38, in June 2020, during the Corona Virus Pandemic.
Pretty in Pink have been a great help to our family, during and after Gemma’s illness and every year I/we like to show our appreciation to the charity and hope that we can help others in Gemma’s memory.
Following on from the success of our last 2 cycles, this year we’re going to Cycle to Croke Park, Dublin. The cycle will be 110 mile.
For the past few years the generosity of our friends and family has blown us all away and we’re not expecting anywhere near the amount we’ve raised in previous years so any donation at all will be greatly received. I am aware we our living through a cost of living crisis, so anything at all will be a help to others, who unfortunately will go through the pain and sorrow my, and many other, families go through.
For our Cycle for Gemma 2021 we raised £23,722.
Cycle for Gemma 2022 we raised £8,882.62.
Totalling £32,604.62.
We’ve set out target at £2000 this year but as mentioned we’re happy with any donation at all.
Thanking you all in advance, the 2023 Cycling team and Cunningham and Sloan families. 🩷🩷🩷💜💜💜
