Story
Hi, our names are Matt Jeremy, Jack Jeremy, Rory Brech, Archie Warriner, and Sam Lott. We are King's Ely students from Yr 12 and we have chosen to take up the challenge of walking 60 miles across 4 days (8th-11th July) from Happisburgh to Hunstanton on the North Norfolk Coast in order to raise awareness and money for the Hope-4-Malawi charity. Some of us have first hand experience of the hardships the children of the Hope School Malawi have to endure on a daily basis, and having seen this, we are passionate to help make a change.
Join us in making a difference in the lives of children in southern Malawi. With your help, the total funds raised by King's Ely school can help to build a new classroom at Hope School through our campaign, Hope4Malawi. In a country where only 15% of children complete secondary school, this new classroom will make a significant impact on the community. By providing access to education, we can help families rise out of poverty and break the cycle of hardship where many survive on only £1 a day. So far, the School has raised more than half of the target of £20,000. We hope that with your help our walk can make a modest contribution towards our goal.
We are grateful for any contribution you can make towards this cause. Your generosity will have a lasting impact on the lives of these children and their families. Thank you for considering our campaign and helping us create hope for those who need it most.
