In loving memory of Nora Jones (nee Bengey), who passed away peacefully on 12th October aged 90.

Ifracombe RNLI is a charity close to Nora’s heart, having been born and raised in Ilfracombe. Nora’s family actively volunteer at the station and all donations are gratefully received.

Ilfracombe’s lifeboat station was first established in the 1828 and has served the community for nearly 200 years.

The volunteer lifeboat crew provide a 24-hour search and rescue service 365 days a year, but none of this would be possible without the support of the public and their donations. It costs in the region of £250k a year to run and maintain the service in Ilfracombe, all of which comes from the generous donations of the public.
