Raising Awareness For Bipolar Disorder - The 3 Summits
Fundraising for Bipolar UK
Fundraising for Bipolar UK
More than a million people in the UK have bipolar. That’s one in fifty people!
Bipolar is a severe, lifelong mental health condition characterised by immense highs and lows. At it's most extreme, the highs can lead to delusional thinking and psychosis, and the lows to suicidal thoughts.
Tragically, someone living with bipolar is 20 times more likely to take their own life than someone without the condition, with at least 1/20 of all people who take their own life in the UK having a diagnosis of bipolar.
Bipolar UK is the only dedicated national charity supporting those affected by bipolar, and they currently reach 389,000 people annually in the UK.
Many people with bipolar continue to lack the basic support and treatment needed to live a normal life, and so the need for a dedicated national bipolar charity has never been greater.
The incredible work of Bipolar UK doesn’t just help those who struggle with Bipolar, but is extended to the families, ensuring they have the tools and understanding to help and support during episodes.
To raise money for this incredible charity, I will be climbing the 3 biggest peaks in the Lake District over 72 hours with my supportive colleagues at LED Studio.
Every penny you donate will go to Bipolar UK and help people with Bipolar lead a normal life and ensure the families know how best to support them.
No matter the size of donation, the entire Noonan family thank you for your generosity and support!
Thank you, love the Noonans x
