Story

Birmingham Hospice is the new name for Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice and John Taylor Hospice.

Our vision is a future where everyone with a life-limiting illness will live and die with dignity and in comfort.

Offering personalised support at home, in local communities or at the hospices, we help people across Birmingham to live well with their illness, right up to the very end of life.

In loving memory of our dear friend Liam Dillon. Noeline Furey, Anne Gleeson, Martin Furey, Sarah Furey, and family are taking part in the 5K Chocolate Run on 29th March. Liam received exceptional care from Birmingham Hospice, which also played a crucial role in organising his palliative treatment back home in Kerry. Liam passed away on 9th March 2024, he remains in our hearts.

This run is our opportunity to give back and express our heartfelt thanks to Birmingham Hospice. All donations will be gratefully received and will help continue our vital work in providing compassionate care to those in need.

Thank you for your help and continued support. Together, we can make a difference.
