Story
I lost my dad to cancer in 2008 - it was a big blow for my mum and all our family. I started cycling in 2013 - I needed to find a sport that I enjoyed - and have loved it ever since. On 22 June, I will attempt to Chase the Sun - an epic 209 mile cycle from Titanic Belfast to Enniscrone in Co. Sligo - sunrise to sunset. I have chosen this event to keep my dad's memory buring brightly and to raise funds for the many families going through what we did. I hope to have a whiskey in dad's memory before sunset on 22 June looking out to the Atlantic from Enniscrone after my biggest ever day in the saddle.
Thanks for supporting my fundraising. Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.
