Story
James sadly passed away at Christmas having lost his battle against AML, a form of leukaemia, at a cruelly young age before adulthood had even really started for him.
I myself am no stranger to a cold water swim but on World Cancer Day this year I have done it for a bigger cause than my own health and wellbeing. On 4th February the water was a very refreshing 4°C and I stayed in for 7 minutes!
Thank you for all the contributions you’ve made to this worthwhile charity that specifically focuses upon research into blood cancers.
About Blood Cancer UK
We're a community dedicated to beating blood cancer. We do this by funding research and supporting those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. Right now, our community is funding 360 researchers and staff across the UK who are searching for the next breakthrough. The day we will beat blood cancer is now in sight and the researchers are determined to finish the job.
