My friend Katie (awesome midwife) and I (an equally fabulous nurse) have supported victims of domestic abuse both personally and professionally and would love you to join us at our community cafe in Cilcain this coming Saturday (22nd June) from 2-5pm.

We are fundraising for Welsh Women’s Aid and running in the Cardiff Half Marathon in October 2024 as part of “Team Welsh Women’s Aid.”

There will be cake! We love cake. There will be table top games, crafts and next door a park to help burn of the sugar rush or a field so you can tire yourself out so you sleep well ☺️

We also have a collection of toys and preloved items for sale along with Kate’s pottery ❤️ She’s very good 😌

The Principality Cardiff Half Marathon 2024, is scheduled for October 6th, 2024. I believe in the mission of Welsh Women's Aid to support those impacted by abuse. 1 in 3 women and 1 in 5 children in Wales will experience abuse and violence at some point. This includes sexual violence, coercive controlling behaviour, forced marriage, sexual exploitation, female genital mutilation, stalking or harassment. Welsh Women's Aid works tirelessly to ensure that everyone impacted by abuse can access vital lifesaving and life-changing services. With your help, they can continue this crucial support.
