Story
This year, I am embarking on an incredible journey to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of Sobell House Hospice. This adventure is not only the most physically and mentally challenging activity I have ever undertaken, but it is also deeply personal and meaningful.
Sobell House Hospice provides outstanding care and support to those facing life-limiting illnesses, ensuring that patients and their families receive compassionate care during incredibly difficult times. Sobell House Hospice cared for my wife during an exceptionally challenging battle with Ovarian Cancer, helping to provide physical and emotional support to my wife and our children. Their dedication and commitment to making a difference in people's lives inspire me every day, and I am honoured to support their mission.
Climbing Kilimanjaro is a monumental challenge that requires extensive preparation, endurance, and resilience. Standing at 5,895 metres, it is the highest peak in Africa, and the journey to the summit will test my limits in every way imaginable. However, knowing that my efforts will contribute to the vital services provided by Sobell House Hospice motivates me to push through every obstacle.
I kindly ask for your support and generosity to help me reach my fundraising goal. Your donations will directly contribute to the hospice's essential work, ensuring they can continue to offer comfort, care, and dignity to those in need. Every pound makes a difference, and together, we can provide hope and support to many.
Thank you for your support, and for joining me on this incredible journey. Let’s make every step count for Sobell House Hospice!
