Not too long ago I had a battle with cancer, and am now thankfully 2-years all-clear. But it never truly ends.

Every 3-months for the rest of a life in remission, it's bloods, CT scans and oncology assessments - to ensure those pesky cancer-markers never return.

But despite trying conditions, the amazing team in St Barts Phlebotomy ward ALWAYS put a smile on my face and a spring in my step as they help THOUSANDS of patients like myself who are either revisiting or in the midst of, their darkest of days.
