Story

Hi everyone, we are either brave or mad but both of us are taking part in a skydive on 27th April to raise money for Family Support Work. Nearly all of you will know that Nikki is Director of Fundraising at FSW, which supports families in Sussex who are going through really tough times. Over the last couple of years the number of families seeking help has grown hugely and FSW is on course to help over 700 families this year. Some of them are struggling with financial hardship or housing problems, others with relationship breakdowns or difficulties supporting children with additional needs. FSW's family support practitioners provide emotional and practical support which helps them to make changes, become more resilient and confident so that their children can have brighter futures.

As most of you know, Sam is a total thrillseeker who has been desperate to do a skydive for ages, but had to wait until he was 16. So here we are, getting ready to leap out of a plane at 15,000 feet somewhere near Stonehenge.

We're trying to raise £1,000 for FSW, which would pay for just over a week of a practitioner's support, helping up to 25 families. We know that money is tight for everybody, but we really would appreciate anything you can spare to help us reach our goal.
