Running the New York City marathon has always been a dream of mine. There is no better feeling than getting to run on behalf of SCOPE, a charity that is near and dear to my heart. SCOPE (Summer Camp Opportunities Promote Education) sends underprivileged children from low income families to summer camp, so they can experience the great outdoors and all that camp has to offer. As a lifelong camper and now Camp Director myself, I am passionate about giving all children the opportunity to attend summer camp, regardless of their financial means. I am so excited to take part in this amazing, challenging experience and hope to send more deserving children to summer camp as a result!
