Story
I’m running to try and get back to some fundraising to help find a cure for my daughter’s condition.
Ruby is a miracle and every day I pinch myself and feel grateful that she is as well as she is. I’m optimistic her honeymoon period of good ish health will last for a couple more years until her organs deteriorate and in that time I want to do all I can. So I’m running the great north run with a team of Team Ruby supports (Thank you).
We’ve had the most purest of life lessons knock on our door that life is very short and to be grateful for every day. I want to run in celebration that I can run and my health is good so I can look after my miracle. It is very symbolic for me.
