I will be attempting to climb and summit Kilimanjaro in October 2024 - with the challenge commencing 3rd October and hopefully reaching the summit on the 12th October via the Lemosho Route.

The Lemosho Route approaches Kilimanjaro from the West, and starts in pristine forest before crossing the vast Shira Plateau, and merging into the Macheme Route after Shira Camp (on Day 3). The route traverses around Kilimanjaro’s southern side.

Lemosho Route itinerary includes the famous Barranco Wall.
