In memory of our daughter, my cousin is partaking in the half marathon to raise money for Jessop's Wing.

On the 25/05/24 our beautiful daughter Emmie~Rose was stillborn at 37+weeks. Whilst this continues to be the most heartbreaking time of our lives, the care we received prior, during and after from all the staff at the Jessop's Wing was absolutely amazing. 

The Doctors, surgeons and midwives showed not only there professional skills but there empathy, understanding & compassion was unbelievable they truly are a credit to the healthcare profession and our NHS.

The bereavement services midwives and team help parents and families in there darkest times. They provide rooms such as the Tulip room which  enables families to privately grieve. They support with legal documents, information and funeral preparations, taking away added strain and worry. The bereavement suite is a warm and beautiful room in such a saddened experience. They care for the babies in such a dignified manner and nothing is too much to ask.

By raising funds enables them to help other families that sadly go through this journey, while nothing will make it better there care helped make it more bearable. Please donate if you are able to do so to this amazing place.
