Story
Hi, my daughter Evie who is 5 years old, is hosting a cancer party for her Grandad. She wants to have a 'coffee morning' style party to raise money. She recently completed a fun run and raised money for a teacher at her school with the money going to the Focus Centre. Her Grandad has used this centre too. This really inspired her to raise money and to show love and support for her Grandad. She said the party is to "celebrate people with cancer". After speaking with her Grandad we have decided the money raised will go to the CT Scanner appeal.
Thank you for supporting Evie in dealing with her Grandad's illness.

Thanks to incredible supporters across Gloucestershire, an amazing £600,000 has been raised for a new scanner that will help thousands of patients in the county.
The new CT Gamma Scanner will soon be helping hospital teams to diagnose conditions at the earliest opportunity, it will aid the treatment of babies, people with cancer and patients with neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s.
This equipment will provide two specialist scans at the same time; an external CT scan and a gamma scan from within the body, helping to diagnose conditions which otherwise may not be found.
Your support has now raised more than £3million to fund CT scanners and other imaging technology at the hospitals, with around 40,000 patients now set to benefit each year. Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals charity are committed to continuing to fund further technology over and above standard NHS provision.
