Those of you who know me know how important mountain biking is for me. A year ago, a close friend of mine who i have been riding with a lot since moving to Hitchin has been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease and his life has changed radically and to give back for all the time and advice he has given me over the last few years (including patiently answering my non sensical questions about why my bike isn't working as it should and repairing the latest thing I broke), I will ride 100 miles off road on the South Downs to raise funds for the MND Association which has supported him for the last few months.

The MND Association focus on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by MND in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
