Story
I’ve always wanted to run the London marathon, and for as long as I’ve wanted to run it, mum has thought I was mad…
But over the years my love for running has rubbed off on mum, she loved watching me run through Dore village for the Sheffield Half Marathon… even those years she was so poorly, she always showed up with a smile. She particularly took pride watching the group effort for Sheffield Hospital’s Charity for Holly but this year I’m dedicating my London Marathon to my mum Lorraine.
I wanted to express my gratitude to those who went above and beyond showing up to care for my mum after her cancer diagnosis, district nurses (you are total angels) hospital staff (who go above and beyond everyday), friends and family who stuck by us all, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
And most of all… thank you mum 🫶🏻
