Story
02/06/2022 - one year ago I had to say goodbye to my Mum.
Mum had secondary cancer which was incurable, we had 2 special weeks at home before she passed - she showed incredible strength, bravery and gratitude for the life she had lead. Her love, compassion, positive outlook and happiness is something that I will carry with me always.
Mum made me promise to seek all the help and support I could get after she had died - I remember the conversation well. Butterflies Bereavement Support is a charity who provide counselling, group sessions and friendship services to those who are grieving. I am not sure where I would be without them.
I have set-up this page to raise money for Butterflies to continue to grow and provide help to others who are trying their best to navigate their way through the grief - a part of life that is unknown and scary at times but with the right support can seem that little less daunting.
Thank you so much, from me and my Mum, our little shining sunshine up in that sky!
Nic and Fi will be running Chicago Marathon on Sunday October 8th in memory of Angela Sinclair.
